Birkebeinerrennet 2025
The race number 11 of the Ski Classics season 2024-2025, the traditional Birkebeinerrennet, will be skied on March 15th 2025 in Norway, from Rena to Lillehammer. See the schedule, startlists, prize money and results.
Birkebeinerrennet in Norway is the eleventh event of the
Ski Classics series of the season 2024-2025. The race starts from Rena and finishes 54 km later in Lillehammer.
The classic style mass start Birkebeinerrennet is a true classic as it was originally skied for the first time back in 1932. Birkebeinerrennet has been in the Ski Classics program since the first season in 2010-2011.
The Birkebeinerrennet belongs to the 500-point Grand Classics category of Ski Classics. The winner of the competition will thus be awarded 500 points.
From the first of the climb finish in Birkebeinerrennet there are increased "iconic" points in store and from the second climb goal, full 100% points will be awarded for the climb competition.

Birkebeinerrennet 2024 - Prize money
The prizes are paid in local currency, the Norwegian crowns. 70 000 NOK equals approximately 5 862 euros (checked on November 1st 2024).
