Birkebeinerrennet 2024
The twelfth and fourth last race of the Ski Classics season 2023-2024, the traditional Birkebeinerrennet, will be skied on March 16th 2024 in Norway, from Rena to Lillehammer. See the schedule, startlists, prize money and results.
Birkebeinerrennet in Norway is the twelfth event of the
Ski Classics series of the season 2023-2024. The race starts from Rena and finishes 54 km later in Lillehammer.
The classic style mass start Birkebeinerrennet is a true classic as it was originally skied for the first time back in 1932. Birkebeinerrennet has been in the Ski Classics program since the first season in 2010-2011.
The Birkebeinerrennet belongs to the 300-point classic races category of Ski Classics. The winner of the competition will thus be awarded 300 points. A total of 80 best finishers will be awarded to the overall competition points.
From the first of the climb finish in Birkebeinerrennet there are increased "iconic" points in store and from the second climb goal, full 100% points will be awarded for the climb competition.

The prizes are paid in local currency, the Norwegian crowns. 70 000 NOK equals approximately 6 100 euros (checked on September 22nd 2023).
