The nineteenth edition of the Asian Games in history will take place between the end of September and the beginning of October (September 23rd - October 7th, 2023) in Hangzhou, China. The games were originally supposed to be organized a year earlier, but Coronavirus postponed the games by a year.
The Asian Games are held every four years. Many different sports are competed in the Games, one of which is athletics. There are apx. 12 500 athletes from 45 different countries competing in different events.
