The World Masters Athletics or the
WMA is a world championships event in athletics (track and field) for male and female athletes aged 35 years and over. In 2022 the WMA championships are organized in Tampere, Finland between June 29 – July 10, 2022,
The World Masters Athletics is open to all athletes, with no qualification standards, with the exception that athletes must be members of their respective national organizations. More than 4600 athletes will compete in Tampere during the 12 days of the WMA 2022 championships.
