Ljubno has hosted women's FIS Ski Jumping World Cup multiple times during the last ten years. Ljubno premiered as a world cup host in 2012.

The normal hill in Ljubno has a hill size of 94 metres. The hill record of 96,5 metres is held by Austrian Daniela Iraschko-Stolz.

In the season 2022-2023 Ljubno hosts a women's World Cup weekend between 30th December and 1st of January. The two Ljubno events are also a part of a brand new women's Silvester Tournament. It resembels the legendary men's Four Hills Tournament as four events are competed in Villach and Ljubno.
