Lausanne Diamond League 2020


Lausanne Diamond League competition takes place on Wednesday the 2nd September 2020. See the event schedule and complete results.
This year, only two events, men´s and women´s pole vault, take place in Lausanne Diamond League. The event will be arranged in the city centre of Lausanne.

Brussels Diamond League follows the Athletissima Lausanne event. Brussels will host the Diamond League on the Friday the 4th September.

Pole vault competitions start at 6.00 PM (CET).

Lausanne Diamond League 2020 – Athletes


Men´s competition will be led by the Swedish star Armand Duplantis. Also the French pole vaulter Renaud Lavillenie will aim high heights in Lausanne. In addition, Sam Kendricks, Piotr Lisek and Cole Walsh will compete in the men´s event.

Women´s world champion Sandi Morris will compete for the first time this season in Europe. She will be challenged, especially, by the Greek star Ekaterini Stefanidi who has competed only once in this season (446/xxx). Anzhelika Sidorova, Angelica Bengtsson, Alysha Newman, Angelica Moser and Nicole Büchler will also try to challenge Morris and Stefanidi.
