The first event of the
Diamond League season 2026 will be competed in Keqiao, Shanghai, China. The meeting takes place on Saturday May 16th 2026. After two events in China the Diamond League Tour continues in with the
Diamond League meet in Rabat on May 31st.
This year's event will be special, as it's the first time the meet will be held at a newly rebuilt stadium at Shanghai/Keqiao. Athletics holds a special place in the heart of the people of Shanghai, as legendary Olympic Champion and world record holder in the 110m hurdles Liu Xiang hails from the area.
Shanghai Diamond League 2026 – Schedule & timetable
There will be 14 Diamond League events in Shanghai 2026, which are supplemented by two extra events.
Men: 100m, 800m, 3000m, 110m hurdles, 300m hurdles, pole vault, discus throw
Women: 200m, 400m, 1500m, 100m hurdles, 3000m steeplechase, long jump, shot put
