Sjusjøen Biathlon IBU Cup 2022

Sjusjøen in Norway hosts the first IBU Cup weekend of the season 2022/23 between 24th and 27th November 2022.

NOTE! The IBU Cup opening weekend in Sjusjøen has been cancelled.

Sjusjøen is a fairly new host in the IBU Cup. It premiered on the IBU Cup circuit in the beginning of the season 2017/18. Sjusjøen has hosted the opening weekend in the IBU Cup also in the season 2018/19. Sjusjøen has also hosted the FIS Cross-Country Skiing World Cup in 2011.

Sjusjøen is located in Central Norway just 20 km from the 1994 winter olympics host city Lillehammer. In the season 2022/23 Sjusjøen hosts the opening competition weekend of the IBU Cup in the end of November 2022.

Sjusjøen Biathlon IBU Cup 2022 - Schedule & timetables

The men's and women's first weekend of the IBU Cup 2022/23 starts in Sjusjøen on the 24th of November 2022. The races start on Thursday with men's and women's sprints. Another set of sprints will be competed on Saturday. The weekend ends on Sunday with mixed relay's.
