Klingenthal in Germany has hosted the
FIS Ski Jumping World Cup multiple times in the past 10 years. Klingenthal premiered as a world cup host already in 1986 but returned to the World Cup schedule only in 2007. From then on Klingenthal has been a regular host in the FIS Ski Jumping World Cup.
The ski jumping venue in Klingenthal is called
Vogtland Arena. The large hill in Klingenthal has a hill size is 140 metres. The summer hill record of 148 meters is held by Norway's
Marius Lindvik and the winter hill record of 146,5 meters has been jumped by
Michael Uhrmann of Germany.
Klingenthal Ski Jumping World Cup 2021 - Schedule & timetables
In the season 2021-2022 Klingenthal will host a combined World Cup weekend for men and women in December.
The weekend starts off with women's qualification on Thursday. Women have their individual large hill competition on Friday and Saturday.
Men qualify on Friday and the weekend continues for them with Saturday's and Sunday's individual large hill competitions.
