Kontiolahti in Eastern Finland is an experienced biathlon host. Kontiolahti is better known as a biathlon World Cup host but this year they are hosting an IBU Cup weekend between 30th of November and 3rd of December.

Kontiolahti has hosted the biathlon World Championships in 2015 and co-hosted in 1990. Kontiolahti will return to the biathlon World cup circuit in the following season of 2024/25.

The weekend in Kontiolahti begins on Thursday with individual 15/20 km competitions. On Saturday it's time for sprint competitions and the weekend ends on Sunday with mixed relays.
