Gateshead Diamond League 2021 – Athletes
As usual, The Müller Grand Prix will be packed with world's top athletes.
The women´s 100 m race is going to be top class. The local heroine
Dina Asher-Smith will go against
Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce,
Elaine Thompson-Herah and
Sha’Carri Richardson.
In the men’s pole vault,
Armand Duplantis and
Sam Kendricks face each other again. On Wednesday, the duo raced in Ostrava with the results of 590 (Duplantis) and 585 (Kendricks).
In the men's 1500 meters
Jakob Ingebrigtsen will race against
Stewart McSweyn and
Adam Ali Musab. In the last event, women´s 1500 metres, home crowd favorite
Laura Muir will aim to break the 4.00 minute barrier.
