The Dresden cross country sprint World Cup event takes place on 19th and 20th of December. See the event schedule and complete results.
The Dresden World Cup sprint event is the third event of the
cross-country World Cup season 2020/2021. The first two events were held in
Ruka and Davos is late November early December.
The Dresden event is organized in the center of Dresden by the river Elbe. The constructed skiing track is 800 meters long.
Unfortunately the Norwegian, Swedish and Finnish teams will not participate in Dresden because of the coronavirus situation. The 2020 event will be organized without spectators due to the pandemic.

Dresden World Cup - History
The track of the Dresden city sprint World cup is fairly easy and typically there are no huge time differences between the skiers in the qualification and finals. Dresden is known for freestyle sprints and no classic style or distance World cup races have been organized in Dresden.
