The prize money for Budapest World Championships announced - Take a look at the sums
World Athletics has announced the prize money for the upcoming World Athletic Championships in Budapest.

World Athletics and the main sponsor TDK will award the winners of the individual competitions with 70 000 USD. For new
world records an extra prize of 100 000 dollars will be paid. The total prize pool of the World Championships is 8 498 000 dollars.
The same prizes were awarded last year in Eugene World Championships.
