Norway’s top cross-country skiers, reinforced by leading names from France, will open their season this weekend in Beitostølen, Norway. The three-day Beitosprinten starts on Friday with sprints in classic technique. Especially the men's race is packed with the world’s top sprinters, led by Johannes Høsflot Klæbo.

In addition to fame and glory, the Norwegians are fiercely contesting spots for the Ruka World Cup, which begins a week later.

To the delight of ski fans, Beitosprinten’s top races can be watched worldwide through NRK’s livestream. The broadcast from the sprint qualifiers begins on Friday at 11:00, with the heats starting at 13:00.
