Nizhny Tagil in Russia has become a regular organizer in the
FIS Ski Jumping World Cup during the last seven years. Nizhny Tagil has hosted the FIS World Cup for the first time in 2014 and has been in the schedule ever since.
In 2021 the Russian venue will have the privilege to host both men's and women's opening weekend of the ski jumping world cup season 2021/2022.
The Nizhny Tagil ski jumping hills used in the FIS World Cup have a hill size of 97 (normal hill) and 134 metres (large hill). Women's events are competed in the normal hill and men's events in the large hill.
Nizhny Tagil Ski Jumping World Cup 2021/22 - Schedule & timetables
In the ski jumping world cup season 2021/2022 Nizhny Tagil will host the first competition weekend for both men and women in mid November 2021. The men's weekend starts off with qualification on Friday, continues on Saturday and Sunday with the individual competitions.
Women go at it a week later in Nizhny Tagil. The weekend progresses in the same way as men's but women start the weekend already on Thurday. On Thurday women qualify and on Friday and Saturday it's time for individual competitions.
Women return to Nizhny Tagil for the world cup in mid March 2022 and compete two more individual events in the HS97 hill.
