Snooker Prize money - All snooker tournaments 2026-2027
The
2026-2027 snooker tournaments and the prize money given out at each tournament can be found below in cronological order for the season.
The tournaments on the World Snooker Tour with the biggest total prize money pools are the World Snooker Championships, the UK Championship and The Masters. This trio also goes by the name of the snooker majors.
However, large prize money pools can also be found in some Chinese tournaments, but the Saudi-Arabian tournaments that provided players with amazing chances to make bank are no longer being organized in the 2026/2027 season.

World Snooker Championship 2027 starts on the 17th of April, and we'll have a new world champion on the 3rd of May. There will be a record-breaking 3 million pound prize pool in Sheffield this year. That's more than £700 000 extra compared to last year, and the champion's bank account will fatten to the tune of 625 000 pounds.

Snooker prize money & special prizes 2025-2026
This section will be updated later, once the possible special prizes for the 2026-2027 snooker season have been confirmed. Below you can find last season's special prizes.
Triple Crown Bonus: £147 000
Jackson Page of Wales managed to hit two maximum breaks in one match during the 2025 World Snooker Championship qualifiers. This historic feat brought him more than fame, as he also earned the 147 000 pound Triple Crown bonus. This bonus was for any player who manages to score two maximum breaks in major tournaments across the season.
Ronnie O'Sullivan has also managed to earn the prize albeit not in the same match like Page, but sadly this prize will no longer be a part of the calendar for the 2026-2027 season.
100 century breaks in a season: £100 000
The 2025-2026 season also featured a £100 000 prize for the first player to make one hundred century breaks across the season. Judd Trump managed this feat in the 2024/2025 season.
Home Nations Series -bonus: £150 000
BetVictor is sponsoring the World Snooker Tour Home Nations -series, which is comprised of the English Open, Northern Ireland Open, Scottish Open and the Welsh Open. The best player at all four tournaments combined will receive an extra prize of £150 000. Jack Lisowski is the latest player to win the bonus.
The Golden Ball (167 maximum break): 1 000 000 dollars
The invitational tournament in Saudi-Arabia's Riad had a real specialty, as there was an extra golden ball on the felt worth 20 points. The ball could only be played after completing a maximum break of 147, giving the player a chance to hit a world record break of 167. Any player who succeeded in doing so would have received a 1 million dollar special prize, but no one has managed it so far.
WST Ranking -list - Snooker players with the most prize money earned 2025-2026
In snooker, the players are often referred to by their ranking position. The snooker world ranking -list is in fact the exact same, as the amount of prize money they've earned.
The World Snooker Tour uses a 2-year money list. In other words, the ranking points accumulate from the prize money earned from ranking tournaments over the last two seasons.
Other prize money earned, such as the special prizes above or winnings from invitational tournaments are not counted towards the world ranking list.
The ranking is updated daily after each tournament, where the money from that tournament is added in, and the money earned two years ago is filtered out. There's also a 1-year money list in use for some situations.
