Iivo Niskanen defeated Aleksandr Bolshunov and his country men with over 30 seconds in Olos, Finland in a training camp competition. Natalia Nepryaeva beat Kerttu Niskanen by one second in the women´s race.
Finns, Russians and Germans competed in an unofficial training camp competition in Olos, Finland on Sunday. In the men´s 10 km (c) race the Finnish Olympic champion
Iivo Niskanen took the win before a long list of Russians. Second place went to
Alexey Chervotkin who lost 38 seconds to Niskanen.
Alexander Bolshunov was third 41 seconds behind Niskanen.
The women´s 5k race was super tight. Russia´s
Natalia Nepryaeva took the win one second before the Finn
Kerttu Niskanen (Iivo´s sister). Germany´s
Katharina Hennig came third just one second behind Niskanen.
