Snooker's Wuhan Open 2026 takes place from the 23rd to the 29th of August. It's a ranking tournament, and the fourth tournament on the World Snooker Tour calendar. All the players on the pro tour are eligible to participate.

The qualifiers for the tournament took place in Leicester between the 15th and 18th of June. There are 32 players who have made their way to the tournament proper via the qualifiers. Some of the qualifiers were moved straight into China, where a couple of wild card entries have been permitted.

The Wuhan Open is also the third consecutive tournament to be held in China. Preceding it in the calendar are the prize money laden Shanghai Masters and China Open. There isn't much rest for the players, as the tour continues with the British Open just 2 days after the conclusion of the Wuhan Open.
